there were two reasons for writing this post. ('were' because one of the reasons is no longer valid)
1. because i'm bored.
2. because this particular dedication is long overdue. :p
wait, first i have to say something about The Conver, which was what started this whole thing anyway.
i think everybody who was in 5 Omega in 2006 would know about The Conver. hehe.
for those who dont :
bascially, after the World Cup, me and Rachel (or should it be Rachel and I?) started writing this dialogue thing which initially started off with just Schweini and Poldi(Podolski)
(btw, we're both staunch Germany supporters)
it was an accident though, it just so happened that i liked Schweini and she liked Poldi. it was only after a few weeks that we discovered the two were best friends in real life. weirdness.
yeah, so, anyway, the dialogue became more of a story, and it just grew...
we added more characters (including ourselves), and we kept on writing til we had about 60 pages of foolscap paper, both sides.
and then we decided that we should move on to Part 2. so we did. and then we decided we'd have to write a trilogy, rite? i mean, whoever heard of a story with just TWO parts?
and what would we call it anyway? a duology?
yeah, but the point of my telling you all this is to explain that after The Conver, i've naturally come to refer to Schweini in a more fonder manner than i would use for other celebrities.
in simpler terms : i talk about him like as though he's my best friend la. XD
and now i shall start properly.
why Bastian Schweinsteiger? well, cos i was absolutely crazy over him for a while in Form 5, for no specific reason.
definitely not because of looks, although he does look really adorable.
and not entirely because hes a superb midfielder.
i just went crazy over him. fullstop. unexplainable.
and then today, i was looking for pics of him, for this post, and i decided to go look at his brother.
(who, by the way, is also a footballer. whom i hadn't ever seen before today, and for some reason i always had thought that he wouldnt look as good as Schweini).
yeah, well it turned out to be a bad idea.
cos the brother is CUTE.
and damn hot.
and then i was so distracted i though maybe i'd blog about him instead of Schweini.
BUT, no, this post was meant for Bastian Schweinsteiger and it shall be for Bastian Schweinsteiger.
k, NOW i shall start (finally). no more diversions, i promise. :p

Better known as Schweini. (me thinks its an adorable nickname)
He's 23 this year, super tall (181 cm, super tall for me la), and like i said before, hes a superb midfielder.
arguably the best midfielder EVER.
(although Rachel will not agree with me on this)
oh, and what attracted me most about him : the fact that few years ago, he got caught breaking in to the Bayern Munich swimming pool at midnight.
