Start of Something New

i just watched high school musical today.
no, not high school musical 2.
the first one.
yeah, i know. any later la, rite? hehe..

anyway, jea mie's been bugging me to write a welcome speech for the japanese exchange students who are going to visit her school.
btw, jea mie, since im writing this for you, i no longer owe you pisang goreng. we're even. :P

oh, im writing the speech out here, since im extremely bored, and not in the mood to literally write out a speech.
so here goes.

*ahem*

a very good morning to everyone whom im supposed to wish good morning. we are all here to welcome the japanese students to our school. we are so very honoured to have them here with us.

*damn i cannot think*

we hope that you will enjoy your time with us, and take back very fond memories of malaysia. thank you.

hehe.
OR, you could go a bit crazy and write something like this :

good morning, everyone. first things first : a very warm welcome to the japanese exchange students who are going to be with us today. welcome both to malaysia, and to smk ss17!! (both of which are equally pathetic) despite the fact that we have been only allowed a miserable three hours to gawk at you (like you just landed from mars, the way we always gawk at jap exchange students), i hope that we will be able to teach you a thing or two about the malaysian culture.

all right. the first thing you simply have to experience in malaysia is the FOOD. the nasi lemak, roti canai,
(i cant remember what chinese people eat, can only think of char koay teow), etc. but our canteen food is terribly expensive, so, preferably, as soon as you leave this school, head for the nearest mamak. :)

i also hope you will be able to experience the warm, friendly, open-armed (stare like crazy at ur skul students while saying this. use a very ms-ruth-ish expression) culture of the malaysian people. we LOVE foreigners (theyre so nice to gawk at, oh, and btw, we dont like each other). and im sure, you'll feel just at home, here in smk ss17. dont hesitate to ask us for anything. im sure we'll all be such great three-hour friends.

actually, to be completely honest, since we have SUCH a short time to get to know each other, why dont i just shut up now? im sure you dont want to listen to just ME, rite? there are so many other interesting students in the school.
thank you!
(ask ur brother to smile like crazy and gush while reading this)

oh, and if u really want me to do a serious speech, rite, remind me over the weekend. hehe.. XD

~vid~

sorry lah. was bored.
