The game was...amusing?
There was a point sometime in the second half where I actually laughed out loud everytime the ref was about to blow the whistle.


Stats : LOOK AT THE NUMBER OF FOULS AND FREEKICKS.



And re : possession, the commentator (also sometime during the 2nd half) was all "There's no point having so much possession if you can't score a goal"
THAT WAS MY POINT EXACTLY.
SEE. FINALLY SOMEONE AGREES WITH ME ON INTERNATIONAL TELECAST.


What was Netherlands strategy btw?

By the time we went to extra time, everyone was like

just fucking score already.

It was like we didnt care who won as long as the game just finished.

More relief than disappointment when Spain scored.


But tbh if they had gone to penalties, then Spain would probably have won.
They have Casillas.
'Nuff said.


Anticlimax final.


But yes, Iniesta's goal was, and still is, superb.

HOW COME ANDRES INIESTA DIDNT GET GOLD/SILVER/BRONZE BALL EITHER?!
